S.T.K. Training group is made from a cadre of closely knit and hand selected instructors who all share the passion to teach the skills needed to survive in law enforcement. All instructors are certified through the ITOA (Illinois Tactical Officers Association) as either an "Active Threat Master Instructor" or a "Master Tactical Patrol Officer". Every instructor has held several specialty positions during their career, thus honing the skills needed to be a great asset to the team. These positions range from promotions to administration, narcotics task force and undercover drug interdiction, to K9 and SWAT- with several specialties inside the team.

S.T.K. is based primarily out of MTU 7, Peoria IL, but utilizes several venues around the tri-county area to conduct training.

The live fire training courses are held at the Tazewell County Sheriff's Office Range, Tremont IL.

Classes Offered- ITOA Model: Solo Officer Response, Rapid Deployment, MACTAC Urban Tactics, Patrol Tactics, Rescue Taskforce(law enforcement and fire/medical staff).

MTU 7 Courses- 40hr Basic Firearms, Pistol Instructor, Patrol Rifle, Patrol Rifle Instructor, Pistol Red Dot, and High Risk Traffic Stops(Felony Stops).

*All courses are ILETSB Certified and are taught to meet Illinois State Standards.
